George was a loner at school. The constant bullying and teasing had weakened his ability to think clearly, to socialize with the other students and to focus on his studies. Each day he returned home, George would go directly to his room and get lost in a solitary game of chess. It became his safe haven until the next morning when it was time to go back to the torment. There were many who witness the bullying, and many who joined in. After months of constant teasing and ridicule, George's sadness and hurt became evident to one young man in particular. When he could no longer stand to watch the pain and harm being done to his fellow classmate, he decided to take a step to help. His willingness to want to stop the bullying became the foundation for changing George's life. One person helping....one life saved.
